Ona Werner, 97, a resident of Sedona for 50 years, died June 20.
She was born in Nebraska on Jan. 7, 1915, to Roy and Lena Ready.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. She is survived by her children Lynn Huddleston of Chandler Heights, and Bill Werner of Sedona.
Her ashes will be placed with her husband’s at Fort Huachuca. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends and neighbors.
No services are planned.
