Linda Swanson knows a lot about getting a job.
In 42 years, she’s had 13 separate careers. In one of those careers — which lasted 13 years — she held 10 different jobs.
She’s worked as vice president of an insurance company, as department head at a health management organization, and as sales consultant for time shares.
Currently, she’s putting her job experience to use as a career transition consultant, helping people retiring from the military find jobs in the private sector.
Swanson gives seminars to job seekers across the country, but she also has a wealth of information for job seekers in the Verde Valley.
One of her top tips: Internet job searches are “a complete waste of time.”
