Longtime Councilwoman Pat Williams has resigned from the Clarkdale Town Council.
The council officially accepted her resignation at a special meeting April 24, after Williams had notified them of her decision by letter April 9.
Williams cited health concerns as her reason for resigning.
In her letter, Williams said her eight-year service on the Town Council was a “privilege,” and her re-election to a third term on the council in the March 2012 primary election was an “honor.”
