Published:

The Mingus Union High School girls tennis team managed only one victory against the rival Scorpions on Monday, April 9, losing 8-1.

“This has been a rebuilding year for us, and my focus as a coach has been simple: footwork and loose grips on ground strokes and loose, relaxed arms on serves,” Mingus girls tennis Head Coach Andrea Meyer said.

The only victory of the day came from Courtney Warner, who defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-3 in singles play.
