The Camp Verde High School track and field team hosted its first meet of the season Saturday, March 24, in the seventh annual Matt Showers Memorial Invitational.
For the girls, Camp Verde took first overall, squeaking by Wickenburg High School for a gold medal by scoring 128 points, one more than the Wranglers’ 127 points for the meet.
