Katherine M. Varela, 83, of Camp Verde, died July 2.
She was born in Sewickley, Penn. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and a former long-time employee of the Chapel of the Holy Cross gift shop in Sedona.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Tony, she is survived by her sons Richard and Thomas Varela; daughter Christine Trcic; sisters Augustine Facciolo and Nancy Scarchilli; brother Dominic Fote; and three grandchildren, Kimberly Varela Ward and Colton and Collier Trcic.
