Rose Orenstein Rosenfield Hecker, 97, died Aug. 21.
Born March 31, 1913, in Minneapolis, she lived in Sedona and Cottonwood since 2001.
Preceded in death by husband Arthur, she is survived by son Lawrence, daughter Anita, loving cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
A talented poet, her life was celebrated at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley on Aug. 24. Her life was filled with culture, poetry and Yiddishkeit.
